None BooleanProcessor - Too many edges problem

Forum: Visualization

I have a problem when I try to visualise my geometry, caused by a Boolean solid from which I have done several subtractions. This was not a problem in v9.2.p01 and only appeared when I upgraded to v9.4.p02.

The viewer window (OGLSX) opens but then the message "BooleanProcessor::createPolyhedron : too many edges" comes up repeatedly (does not seem to stop) and the geometry never appears. The application works fine when not using the viewer.

If I reduce the number of subtractions I get only a few such messages and the geometry appears. Still fewer subtractions result in no messages. There are 10 subtractions in total (9 boxes and one cylinder) and it fails on the eighth.

I have noticed that there seems to be a mention of this in the v9.4 release notes ( but it does not say what to do about it.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Thanks, Edward
