Question G4LorentzVector set(G4LorentzVector) bug

Forum: User Requirements
Date: 07 Sep, 2014
From: Simon Albright <Simon Albright>

I have a code chunk which does:

     vector1 -> set(vector2);

where vector1 and vector2 are G4LorentzVectors both with 4 non-zero components. I know vector 2 has a non-zero E component but after the ->set command vector1 has the same x, y and z but e = 0.

I've checked the CLHEP lorentzVector.icc and it appears to be doing what I think it is (setting each components of vector1 to the values in vector2) but the result is wrong.

Any advice would be gratefully received.
