Yes, you are using the right commands. It seems you are working on a system which does not provide an X Windows "backing store". If you go into the Geant4 User Forum and search for "backing store", you will see several postings. Mostly, these have gone away, as systems get more sophisticated. After a move or resize, just try /vis/viewer/refresh (not sure simple OGL*X can handle resizing.)

With simple OGLSX or OGLIX, Geant4 does not recognise moving or resizing events. You might think about trying OGL*Xm or OGL*Qt, which will handle such refreshing, but you will have to install Xm (X Motif, e.g., OpenMotif) or Qt ( and re-install Geant4.
