Question Problems Repainting Graphics Window

Forum: (Graphical) User Interfaces
Date: 01 Jul, 2012
From: Stoian Borissov <Stoian Borissov>

Hi all,

I have built and ran a few novice examples. Once each example was started up I entered the following commands into the command line:

--- /vis/open OGL (I have also tried /vis/open OGLI) /vis/drawVolume

/vis/scene/add/trajectories /vis/scene/add/hits /run/beamOn 1 ---

Whenever the drawVolume and beamOn commands are run, the visualization window updates, but if I re-size the window or move another window in front of it a trail appears where the edge of the window was or where the other window was moved. (see attachment) I think this is due to the graphics buffer not being sent any new information once the initial geometry has been drawn. Is there a way to force the visualization window to repaint?

Also, are these even the right commands to use, or should I be running the examples with something else? I grabbed them from G4 Installation instructions on Stanford's website. Thanks!
