Thanks Laurent,

I’m using a shared installation, and this is mainly a nice to have feature, so I’ll wait for the next release.

It’s not allowed to change the font size of the console. It’s a hardcoded in Geant4 but it should not be like this. We’ll provide a patch to fix this for the next release.
By the way, you could go in the sources of Geant4, under sources/interfaces/basic/src/G4UIQt and comment the two lines about FontSize and Family (around line 1470)

G4UIDockWidget* G4UIQt::CreateCoutTBWidget(
  QWidget* coutTBWidget = new QWidget();

  QVBoxLayout *layoutCoutTB = new QVBoxLayout();

  fCoutTBTextArea = new QTextEdit();

  // set font familly and size

Where can I change the font size in the command console section at the
bottom of the Qt GUI window?

In the attached image, the overall Qt font is the size I want (see the
help panel on the left) and my terminal takes the font size from the
system settings. The Qt console does not appear to use either of those
configs so gives me a much larger font size.

Does anyone know how to change this font size?
