I do not understand your complaint. Are you talking about the basic examples? If you run ./exampleB1, for example (without further arguments) it invokes init_vis.mac, which invokes vis.mac, which opens an OGL window. After that you may make further commands.

If you run ./exampleB1 with an argument it will execute it without giving you any option of further commands.

So...the answer is, run without an argument, i.e.,

  ./exampleB1
