Hello all, I've recently encountered the problem that my simulation gives different results depending on wich machiene I execute the code. One runs Linux(Ubuntu) and the other runs Windows 7. I restore the random-seed in my RunAction class with the command "G4Random::restoreEngineStatus(fRndmLoadFileName);" and it works well if I run the same simulation multiple times on ONE machine. It also works if I switch to different PCs but with the same operating system so it really seems to be a problem with the operating system itself. The geant4 version is always geant4-10-02-patch-01. The differences aren't that big though. For example in a simulation with 50.000 gammas the difference is only one gamma wich reaches/does not reach the detector. In the example this is the cause of ~50 missing detector hits. Is that a known problem or am I missing something here? Greetings, Andreas
