I have converted a simulation that was running using GEANT4.5.2 on a LINUX beased system to one that utilises GEANT4.6.1 on a windows based system. I have made the appropriate alterations to the physicslist class for the simulation to run on the new version of GEANT. The program compiles without problem. However, when I run the simulation it defines the volumes and materials in the geometry fine, but when it comes to defining the physics processes (the neutron interactions) I encounter an error which states, "The application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information"
I am unsure as to the source of this error. Has anyone encountered this problem before? I am unsure if it has to do with the physics lists or if it is caused by the fact that I am operating under a windows based operating system. Any and all help would be appreicated,
