Question Stopping the program running for the large number of Beam On (without any error!)

Hi

I have written a GEANT4 program based on Hands On3 example that works with

1,000,000 beam On, no problem exists and i can see the GPS verbosity in terminal.

and after finishing of run i take my outputs via txt file. but, when the number of

beam On increased to 6,000,000 or more than, GPS verbosity in terminal stops after

about ten minutes long without any error! While the processor is busy. After hours

nothing happens and the program does not work. Do you ever have to deal with these

problems? And do you know the solution?

I have this problem in virtual machine(GENAT4 9.4 and GEANT4 9.6)and in Linux!

I have used mesh detector in example.

Many Thanks for any guidance.
