Hi Stefan,

Do not use the command /random/setSeeds in an attept to reproduce a previous run if you didn't use the command in the first place. Your relaunch will reproduce the event histories unless you have code in your program that takes the initial random seed from the time of day - which is unlikely - as in:

http://www-geant4.kek.jp/lxr/source/examples/extended/field/field04/src/F04RunAction.cc#L67

Most main() deal with the 'default seed' and so is probably your main as well if you started from any one of the basic examples:

http://www-geant4.kek.jp/lxr/source//examples/extended/biasing/B01/exampleB01.cc#L109

Some allow it to be part of the job submission, as in:

http://www-geant4.kek.jp/lxr/source/examples/extended/optical/wls/wls.cc#L73
