Question Isotope population at end of simulation

Forum: Run Management

From: Cristian Acuņa <Cristian Acuņa>

Hi all,

At present, I'm trying to simulate thermal scattering with neutrons, and comparing it's effects against radioactive decay. The thing is, at the end of the simulation I need to know the amount
of different Si isotopes that I added to the target in the beginning. I've tried with G4Material::GetMaterial() but this just tells me the materials (and it's abundances) that I defined at the
beginning of the simulation, but not the abundance at the end of the simulation. I've also tried to do this by performing a G4Region::UpdateMaterialList() before asking the material list, but
I'm not sure if the method I'm using to do this is the wrong one, or maybe the parameters for UpdateMaterialList are the wrong ones. So, it would be nice to know if somebody have done
this before, or if there are some handy methods to do this that I haven't look up.

Thanks in advance.
