Question Abort after simulating 6900 Ions

I was trying to simulate 10000 12C Ions on a box-like water phantom (very simple geometry). Physics list is: QGSP_BERT_HP. It looks like there is no enough memory for more than 6900 ions (+ created particles). I am also using my own "StackingAction" to kill everything which is not an ion (following line):

if( aTrack->GetDynamicParticle()->GetCharge() < 1 || aTrack->GetDynamicParticle()->GetCharge() > 6 )return fKill;

Attached is the gdb stack. It sends a "std::bad_alloc" when trying to create a G4Fancy3DNucleus. Are there any limitations which I am not aware of?
