What you can do is give runManager->BeamOn() a very large number of events; when you determine you have processed all of the events available, call runManager->AbortRun(false).

Note, however that calling AbortRun(false) does not work from inside UserGeneratePrimaries(). Instead do:

    // RunManager cannot abort the event from inside
    // UserGeneratePrimaries(), so we do a soft abort
    // to the RunManager, and abort the event ourselves.
    // The result is the same as a hard abort.
    runManager->AbortRun(true);
    event->SetEventAborted();

I do this routinely when processing a file of events for which the count is not known until the EOF is read inside UserGeneratePrimaries().
