 Let me complete the Vladimir answer. There is no direct way to change
 the density of a given material. Anyway this would imply a recomputation
 of the PhysicsTables.

 Create 2 differents materials, with different density (and different
 name), and change the material of the volumes from UI command, as it is
 shown in the DetectorConstrucion and Messenger of 
 examples/extended/electromagnetic.
