I am trying to get an angular distribution of the recoil target nuclei produced by 63 MeV protons in silicon. I have to run a large number of particles to get a sufficient amount of elastic and inelastic collisions and the output is becoming very large (~3Gb). Rather than writing every particle that is created and parsing the output, I would like to write only the information that deals with a specific physics process.

Can I write to an output, including the parent, only the tracks in which its parent undergoes an elastic or inelastic collision?

I would like to have the information of Track ID 993 and all its constituents written to the output file but not Track ID 994.
