Dear GEANT4 experts,
I am looking for a way to disable the internal conversion mechanism. I found the method SetICM in the G4RadioactiveDecay class. However, it seems to not work since it does not change anything either I set it to "true" or "false". It is the same (nothing change in my simulation results) if I use /grdm/icm true (or false). Basically I want Xe131m to decay; it is a mestable level at 164 keV with an internal conversion coefficient of about 50. In this case, if I set icm to false, GEANT4 still continues to generate electrons (instead of gammas). Looking at the code of G4RadioactiveDecay.cpp, it seems that this parameter is not use.
Am I doing something wrong or is it a bug (or maybe it is not yet implemented). Is there a way to disable internal conversion?
I use GEANT 4.10.3 patch1
