Hello,I want to simulate the thermal neutron (0.025eV) capture on Rh103, whose cross section can be found in the following webpage:.
The activated nuclides are Rh104(134b) and Rh-104m(11b).
(1)First of all, the following Physics List was used: RegisterPhysics(new G4EmLivermorePhysics(ver)); RegisterPhysics(new G4HadronDElasticPhysics(ver)); RegisterPhysics(new G4HadronPhysicsQGSP_BIC_HP(ver));// G4NDL4.5 RegisterPhysics(new G4DecayPhysics(ver)); RegisterPhysics(new G4RadioactiveDecayPhysics(ver));
But only Rh104 are produced with cross section of 145b (134b+11b )and no Rh104m is produced.
(2)Then another the Physics List was tried: RegisterPhysics(new G4EmLivermorePhysics(ver)); RegisterPhysics(new G4HadronDElasticPhysics(ver)); RegisterPhysics(new G4HadronPhysicsINCLXX(ver));// G4NEUTRONXS1.4 //RegisterPhysics(new G4DecayPhysics(ver)); RegisterPhysics(new G4RadioactiveDecayPhysics(ver));
Both Rh104 and Rh104m are produced. But the cross section are completely wrong and their ratio is incorrect. The total cross section is only 6.33 b, and the ratio of Rh104 to Rh104m is 25:1.
(3)I also tries to use the other Physics List, but the result is still not correct.
It seems the first try is the closest, however can I add an new track of Rh104m and kill the corresponding track of Rh104 according the correct ratio? Or it will result in any problem about the energy of all the gammas from (n,γ) reaction to Rh104m?
