Hello,

Please, try out $G4INSTALL/examples/extended/electromagnetic/TestEm5 In this example you may define as a primary particle an ion with parameters of your isotope, material of the target and its thickness. You do not need change any line of code in the example but using your custom macro file. With the example it is easy to check what is the absorption length for your case.

In your application I would suggest to use one of reference Physics Lists, see $G4INSTALL/examples/extended/hadronic/Hadr00 to figure out how this may be done.
