Hello,

TestEm8 is an example demonstrating how it is possible simulate gaseous detectors. Accuracy of default Geant4 simulation in same part of such detectors may be not very high. A typical recommendation is to provide more steps within gas gap (normally 2 steps is enough). This may be done using several methods. Partly it is should in TestEm8.

If you use reference Physics List and G4PhysListFactory (see $G4INSTALL/examples/extended/hadronic/Hadr00), then FTFP_BERT_EMY should provide better results than FTFP_BERT.
