Hello,

Sorry for very late answer.

If you add Diffuse elastic to electromagnetic elastic you add large angle scattering. If additionally you add hadron inelastic there you will have also quasi-elastic contributions. In FTFP and cascades quasi-elastic (and diffraction) are part of final kinematic of inelastic interaction. QGSP based list have quasi-elastic scattering simulation as a separate sub-process of inelastic. 

So, a general advice is to use full Geant4 reference Physics Lists.
