Hello G4 Experts,
I am learning Geant4 and trying some practices based on the basic example of exampleB1. I changed the geometry (the world is a cube of 2 mm side and the scoring volume is a sphere of 1 mm diameter), the materials (all changed to G4_WATER) and the physicslist (QBBC, FTFP_BERT, QGSP_BIC, or G4EmDNAPhysics with the default cut value of 1 micrometer). The example was run with 1000 e- of 100 keV. The results of “Dose in scoring volume” obtained from the physicslists of QBBC, FTFP_BERT and QGSP_BIC are the same ("26.3207 microGy +- 254.069 nanoGy" for QBCC and "26.2422 microGy +- 255.598 nanoGy" for FTFP_BERT and QGSP_BIC). However, there is no dose scoring in the run with G4EmDNAPhysics (“Dose in scoring volume : 0 picoGy +- 0 picoGy"). Could anyone please give me an explanation for the G4EmDNAPhysics case? Thank lots!
