Hello, The change was made to make physics lists work correctly in multi-threaded mode.

If you need a particle iterator, you can create a local variable in your code when needed. Alternatively you can use the macro "aParticleIterator" (defined in G4VPhysicsConstructor.hh): in your user code in classes inheriting from G4VPhysicsConstructor change "theParticleIterator" with "aParticleIterator" (let me stress again that this is a #define and not a data field of G4VPhysicsConstructor class).

The motivation for this change has to do with the so called split-class mechanism (you can get more information in chapter 3.14 of the Toolkit Developers guide).
