I am seeking advice on appropriate physics processes to include in a simulation involving a resonant nuclear reaction that populates specific excited states in the resulting compound nucleus that will decay promptly after formation.
Are there specific physics processes that should be included, or packages of these that can be included into the simulation that will allow for the appropriate secondary nuclei to be produced. It would also be interesting to allow for other reaction to take place to gain information on other channels that may contribute to producing the nuclei of interest.
Any advice on how to select/include the appropriate physics processes as well as any additional data packages that they may require to function, is greatly appreciated. If you require any additional information to respond, please advise.
