Hi,

i want to simulate alpha ionization in different gas mixtures like NeCO2N2_90105.

if i use muons, everything is working fine. But if i use alphas, i do not get any electrons.

I am using:

else if( particleName == "alpha" ||
	       particleName == "He3"    ) {

      ph->RegisterProcess(new G4hMultipleScattering(), particle);
      G4ionIonisation* ionIoni = new G4ionIonisation();
      ionIoni->SetStepFunction(0.1, 1*um);
      ph->RegisterProcess(ionIoni, particle);
      ph->RegisterProcess(new G4NuclearStopping(), particle);
