Hi,

I have a problem that occurs when I'm slightly changing exampleB3. The example source is F18. The example is working fine with my GEANT version (v10.0 with patch 01) as long as I don't change anything. When I change the source to Na22 the results still seem reasonable but the following exception is thrown:

Ion has negative lifetime -1001 but is not stable.  Setting mean free path to DBL_MAX

During the B3PrimaryGeneratorAction::GeneratePrimaries(G4Event* anEvent) I read out the lifetime of the ion and whether it is stable or not and both settings are correct (lifetime=1.18496e+08s, unstable).

Furthermore the example and the modification of the source work on a second computer with GEANT v10.0 without the patch. Is there actually something going wrong in the patched version or if not, how can I suppress this warning?
