Hi Everyone, I am working on a shielding project for our facility's synchroton. One on our simulations I need to model the beams interaction with materials. My GPS will be firing polarized photons. I currently don't know weather to construct a modular physics list like that in the Basic Example B3. The amount of physics i need is limited because i only need to model electrons and photons. My true question is if I include the G4LivermorePolarizedPhysics do i need to include the G4Livermore polarized photons for the florescence photons from my target? Also would it be better to construct my own physics list? I need only the following physics: Photon - Photoelectric - Compton electron - ionization - bremsstrahlung other processes - florescence - Auger Showers - ionization models I will be running the simulations on a desktop workstation so I don't know if this will help with memory consumption.
