Hello,

when you are working with low-energy neutrons it is recommended to set cut in range for protons to zero, because this cut is used to limit production of low-energy nuclear recoil.

For that you may used UI command:

/run/initialise
....
/run/setCut   0.1 mm 
/run/setCutForAGivenParticle proton 0.0

where you can set whatever value instead of 0.1 mm - results should be the same.
