I also has the same questions

In my main.cc (version 9.6)

The following code is used to set the physics model for the interaction of 9MeV proton with Be

G4PhysListFactory *physListFactory = new G4PhysListFactory();
  G4VModularPhysicsList* physics = physListFactory->GetReferencePhysList("QGSP_BERT_HP_PEN");
 physics->SetCutValue(0.001*mm,"proton");
 physics->SetCutValue(0.01*mm,"gamma");
 physics->SetCutValue(0.01*mm,"electron");
 physics->SetCutValue(0.01*mm,"positron");

  physics->RegisterPhysics(new G4RadioactiveDecayPhysics("decay"));
  runManager->SetUserInitialization(physics);

However, in the simulation, no gamma peak around 3.56MeV (due to the (p,a)) is recorded and also the neutron yield is 0.001 about the experiment result.

So can any one figure out what is wrong with the simulation?

Any helpful is deeply appreciated!
