None Large energy range of primary particles

Dear experts,

I'm currently simulating a GEM detector under a flow of background particles. One of the features of my simulation is the rather large range of incident energies. I'm focusing on photons (0.01 - 100 MeV), for which I use QGSP_FTFP_BERT, and neutrons (1.E-08 - 1000 MeV) for which I use QGSP_BERT_HP.

Would you suggest any improvement concerning this particular choice of the Physics Lists?
