Dear Michael, Thank you very much for your reply.

Since the optical photons can be assigned whatever energy we wish. I think for the photons with given energy, if we want to simulate their boundary processes we can set the photons as "opticalphoton" and define the corresponding optical material properties; if we want to simulate their EM and photo-nuclear processes we can set the photons as "gamma".

Do you think so?
