Click on the Forum title, e.g. on the "Forums by Category" page, to read a sequence of postings to the Forum and its threads all in one page. I'm trying to simulate the background radiation spectrum of a Ge detector surrounded by a thin layer of pure copper and a lead shield contaminated with 210Pb and 238U. I need to be able to get an accurate representation of the fluorescence x-ray produced in the lead and copper.
I made a physics list based on the "Shielding" list but I replaced the EmStandardPhysics list:

by the Livermore list:

I'm also setting the production cuts to 0.001mm.
Is this the way to obtain the most accurate results? The spectrum I get doesn't seem to reproduce the expected florescence peaks. I'm using geant4.9.5.p02
