I am trying to simulate the charge state and momentum distribution after the target.I use "QGSP_BERT" physics list but the output looks incorrect:
Projectile beam Uranium 17 MeV/u with charge state 33+; Target Material Carbon 3 micro-meter; Charge state is obtained through sensitiveDetector class by:
G4double pcharge = prePoint->GetCharge();
I should get 80% of the charge states from 76+ to 80+ according to LISE++ program. But with Geant4, I only get a single charge state 63+.
Could anyone help me with that? I appreciate it a lot.
