Now the question is clear. Yes, the limit is correct.
Situation is following: in this ion physics builder the Binary Light Ion Cascade is applied for ions in the cascade energy range. Applicability area of the model is few GeV per nucleon, we cannot apply it at whatever energy. Parametrized LE models are very rough and cannot pretend to any accuracy but we instantiate these models only in order to avoid hadronic exception for the case if no model defined for the high energy.
In 9.5p01 there is another alternative: usage of G4IonFTFPBinaryCascadePhysics, ion physics with FTF is only in a preliminary stage is not fully deployed but is much better than these LE models.
