I'm trying to make simulations of photons from bremsstrahlung in the energy range of 100 keV to ~ 10 MeV.I have reproduced the bremsstrahlung spectrum using the emstandard.Next i'd like to simulate the flux of neutron (these bremsstrahlung photons interact with 9Be). I combinate my physics list with all models and processes(just find that QGSP_BERT include photonuclear reaction with 2 models: for high energies with string model and GDR model for low energy range ).As a result I have very small beam of neutrons instead of analitical values.
The threshold Energy for gamma Ey>1.66MeV , cross section for Be is calculated in G4PhotoNuclearCrossSection::GetCrossSection() based on the parameters of the giant dipole resonance with peaks 20MeV . For 9beryllium (gamma; n) cross sections there are additional very low energy resonances in the ~1.68 MeV, ~2.43 MeV, ~3.05Mev equal to ~ 1.2mbarn -1.4mbarn, and "pigmi" resonance in the 4MeV to 16MeV(average ~9Mev - 1.65mbarn) region.They are not described by the parameters of this GDR model resonance for E(gamma)<10MeV.
How I can include these resonances in the cross-section calculation, i try to write my own process which reads data cross section from my file for photonuclear but have bugs)) ?
