Question newbie question on QGSP_BERT_HP

hello Geant experts,

I'm attempting to model conversion electron emission from neutron capture in gadolinium. Therefore i need a physics list that includes thermal neutron cross sections, radioactive decay (for the gadolinium), and electron conversion coefficients.

I've never used a canned physics list before, but I've been told that QGSP_BERT_HP contains all the necessary physics. My question is on the mechanics of implementation. Is it sufficient to simply write the main c-code as:

.
.
.
int main(int argc,char** argv)
{
.
.
.
G4VUserPhysicsList* physics = new QGSP_BERT_HP;
  runManager->SetUserInitialization(physics);
.
.
.
}

Will this instantiate all the necessary particles and physics processes? Do I need to move the .hh file into my project include directory or will it be found in the geant tree?

In addition to that, if my gadolinium foil is only 10 microns thick, do I need to specify a cut size smaller than the 1cm standard cuts? If so, how do I accomplish that with the above physics list?
