|Dear Geant4 Users, I have a student who is working on modeling a 400 MeV Carbon-12 ion hitting a thin Carbon-12 target, and specifically looking at the breakup of the C-12 ions into alpha and Be-8 particles. We have been using the QBBC and QGSP_BIC physics lists, which were suggested from the extended example Hadr01, the starting point for the simualtion. We are specifically interested in using the Fermi break-up model. As far as I can tell, it appears to be included as a default option, but can't be sure. Any suggestions on implementing Fermi break-up or any alternate physics lists that we should use? Thank you for your help, Steve Peterson (University of Cape Town)|
