Hello,

To get full spectrum you need to use one of the available physics builders:
  - Livermore, Penelope or Standard_option3

you need to be sure that atomic deexcitation is active in order to see escape peak of Xe.

How to use predefined builders you may consult $G4INSTALL/examples/extended/electromagnetic/TestEm8

I would agree with Michel, that you will need to run with high statistics to see the effect. We would expect that the result will be as observed in the experiment, however, you should also implement detector response.
