Question Optical physics only in certain volumes

Forum: Physics List
Date: 13 Dec, 2010
From: Luka Santelj <Luka Santelj>

Hello all, anyone knows if it is possible to have different physics lists for different logical volumes? I would like to have optical physics (producing Cerenkov photons) only in certain parts of my detector and not everywhere. Or one has to rely on the fact that in materials with not specified refractive index there are no photons produced (and propagated) and use this as a switch for optics?

Thanks in advance, Luka S.
