I have tested this on several systems. The gamma's are wrongly generated on: working build of 4.9.2.p01 on Ubuntu, clean build of 4.9.2.p01 on OS X,

the problem occurs when using LHEP_PRECO_HP, QGSP_BERT_HP (that I tried) and no alpha + triton events occur for any other standard lists.

The alpha and triton are correctly generated on an older build (4.8.something...).

I tried the physics list used on the older build with 4.9.2.p01 and it was again wrongly generating gamma's.

It seems the NeutronHP package usef to work, but has since been changed to introduce the bug.
