Hello,

Gamma-nuclear interaction in Geant4 follows the design of hadronic 
interaction, so there is process (G4PhotoNuclearProcess) and model 
(G4GammaNuclearReaction). It is not EM physics, so is different from 
Compton and other EM processes.  

Since 8.0, photo-nuclear interaction is a part of predefined physics list, 
in 8.2 builders of different physics components are part of the source 
code. I would suggest to try first to use provided components from 
$G4INSTALL/source/physics_list instead of making your own.
