Hi,

I looked at your code briefly, but it sounds like a geometry problem. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Have you tried to visualize your detector? And have you tried to visualize the photons incident on your photodiode?

Try a visualization format that allows you to view the vertices and normals that define your geometry. I use VRMLview.

If this isn't the problem, I'll look at the code more thoroughly
