Hello,

First of all : if PhyiscsLIst of TestEm7 or N02 and its components can be
used in user application without any change - rename is not needed.

Second: Nist material description is only a way how to define materials, 
it can be used or not but should not provide problems to physics. 

Third: the explanation you give about your problems simply shows 
that there is a memory corruption but the source of it may be whatever.
Make detail comparison of your application with N02 or Em7.
