Hello Vladimir,

thanks for your reply. The application I'm involved in is Mokka and I'm studying the influence of electron-positron pairs from beam-beam interaction on the detector background. Quite a lot of pair particles (with energies in the order of a few GeV) slam into the forward calorimeters and final focus magnets, and this is supposed to be a major source of neutron background in the detector. If I understand it correctly, gamma-nuclear reactions are the main (if not the only) production process for such neutrons.

Synchrotron radiation should not be relevant for me – I just asked because I found that command sitting nearby in the same directory.
