Question How to rebuild G4 with G4LECS package?

Keywords: g4lecs low energy EM Compton Rayleigh physics processes

Can anyone explain in detail how to rebuild geant4 with the G4LECS package?

I can use G4LECS to get the low energy Compton and Rayleigh physics processes, but instead of dragging around the source files in each applicaiton that I write I'd prefer to incorporate G4LECS into the G4 library. How can I do this?

My first attempt at just copying the g4lecs folders over into $G4INSTALL/include/ and $G4INSTALL/source/ was insufficient. When I rebuilt geant4 from scratch it did not build a library for g4lecs that I can tell.

So what do I need to do to incorporate G4LECS into the geant build?

For my next attempt I'm going to try copying the g4lecs headers to $G4INSTALL/source/processes/electromagnetic/lowenergy/include/ and the source files to $G4INSTALL/source/processes/electromagnetic/lowenergy/src/ and then rebuild.

Then I figure g4lecs should just become part of the lowenergy EM physics of G4.

Do I need to edit the GNUMakefile there at all?
