Click on the Forum title, e.g. on the "Forums by Category" page, to read a sequence of postings to the Forum and its threads all in one page. If you are only interested in one thread or the thread following a specific posting, click the thread or the posting, which takes you to a smaller page, which contains only the part you are interested in and may be easier to navigate.
Messages are "chained" if there are only replies at the first level, i.e. 1/1.html, 1/1/1.html etc. In case of "chained" messages the message number is replaced by the icon and there is no indentation.
Inline: Display the subject line only or also the text of the posting(s); for the choice "All" the "Outline" choices are switched off.

Hello Geantofilos, I'm quite new to Geant4 simulations although I've some years experience in rare processes (BB and DM). I'm trying to simulate the light propagation in a scintillator+Light_Guide configuration. After defining the geometry, the optical surfaces and adding the physics list (following the Geant4 example 6), I see that the light production works OK, at least qualitatively, but the photons stop at the boundaries. I have tried "logicalbordersurfaces" and "logicalskinsurfaces", but the efect is the same as if I leave undeclared the opticalsurfaces, there are no reflexions and no transmisions.
So my question is: Is there any stupid thing a begginer uses to forget and that can explain this behaviour? Or is it something extrange that nobody have faced before and you would need more information to fix the problem? (By the way, I have one of the latest releases of Geant4)
