None Charge states vs Stopping Powers

Have been trying to study the above using both the HE(G4hIonisation.hh) and LE extension (G4hLowEnergyIonisation.hh) physics classes for heavy ions. When charge state is given as 0, the HE model seems to use the diffusion, looks fine for 1+ etc ..whereas for the LE model, the ion stops right in the detector window.

When charge state goes up, the ions stop in the detector window for HE model, the LE looks fine. Could someone clarify these anomalies?

Might be I'm doing something out of ordinary Surely can one accelerate an ion of 0 charge state? Thank you
