Click on the Forum title, e.g. on the "Forums by Category" page, to read a sequence of postings to the Forum and its threads all in one page. If you are only interested in one thread or the thread following a specific posting, click the thread or the posting, which takes you to a smaller page, which contains only the part you are interested in and may be easier to navigate.

I can have now the energy deposited by the alpha of 4.4 MeV in the gaz (Ar 4%N2) of a fission chamber (235U). But when I draw the spectrum of the energy deposited, I don't have the "theoretical" one. Indeed, the maximal energy deposited should be 4.4 MeV corresponding to the energy of the alpha that are emitted at the frontier between the gaz and the U235 (no energy loss in the U235). But the G4 spectrum "stops" to about 3 MeV. I don't implement dE/dx tables explicitly in my PhysicsList class. But if I do, I have the same problem. If I change the cuts, it is not better : I still have a cut in my spectra that is much too low ... I never get the 4.4 MeV expected !
If you have any idea, it will be very useful for me. I don't know how to do ...
