Click on the Forum title, e.g. on the "Forums by Category" page, to read a sequence of postings to the Forum and its threads all in one page. I would like to implement G4PhotonEvaporation into my PhysicsList.
short question: is there an example around using G4RadioactiveDecay and G4PhotonEvaporation?
long question: I am using RadioactiveDecay and /gun/ion .. .. to simulate the detector response for different radioactive nuclides. So far it is working pretty well.
But: if the daughter nuclid is metastabil, like is for the Cs137 betaminus decay, I don't see the de-exitation of the daughter nuclide.
the manual is saying allow simulation by GEANT4 of:
Nuclear radioactive decay, i.e. , -, +, electron capture (EC), and isomeric transition (IT) or “long-lived” meta-stable states, the latter through the existing photo-evaporation code;
but I can not add the PhotonEvaporation Process to the pmanager in the PhysicsList. How do I have to implement the PhotonEvaporation?
Thanks for an example! Or another realisation of including the metastabile processes into the simulation.
