Question No <replicavol> in <assembly>?

Forum: Persistency
Date: 04 Jun, 2014
From: Werner <Werner>

I wanted to do exactly what is mentioned in the title, but this seems to be unsupported. Calling "load_gdml" I get the error message:

 Unsupported GDML tag 'replicavol' for Geant4 assembly structure !

But surprisingly, when I look into the schema description in the source directory,

I see the following:

  <xs:complexType name="AssemblyVolumeType">
      <xs:extension base="IdentifiableVolumeType">
          <xs:element maxOccurs="unbounded" name="physvol" type="SinglePlacementType"/>
          <xs:element maxOccurs="1" minOccurs="1" ref="replicavol"/>
          <xs:element maxOccurs="1" minOccurs="1" name="paramvol" type="ParameterisedPlacementType"/>

So, <replicavol> seems to be supported. How do I have to understand this contradiction?
