I am glad that you solved your problem. 

I am implementing a beta spectrum in my simulation and I wonder if it is necessary to normalise the spectrum. Isn't it automatically normalised?
I am defining it as “arbitrary point-wise spectrum”, specifying energy and probability. When I tried to define it as “user defined histogram” it seemed to not work properly.
